Gunjack is the stunning arcade game set in the EVE Online universe. The player is placed into the role of a solitary Gunjack who needs to shoot all of the incoming attackers. This VR game is filled with frantic action with constant enemies flying towards the player and the ship they’re protecting.
The player must fight to protect the mining platform which is being threatened by the waves of enemy ships which are trying to destroy it. This arcade game is filled with constant action and the player needs to have a fast reaction speed if they intend to destroy the incoming enemy ships. Destroying all of the incoming ships is a difficult task and it’s a good thing that players can replay each of the levels in the game. As a result, Gunjack has a high replay value and the constant action makes it difficult to become bored of this game.
As the game progresses, the player unlocks special weapons which can easily be switched between to strategically destroy the incoming waves of enemy ships. This adds another level to the game as it encourages players to make tactical decisions instead of just mindlessly destroying enemies.
There is no real plot to the game but Gunjack doesn’t really need one. The gameplay itself is very engaging and has a high entertainment value which fans of action games should be able to enjoy. Combined with a high replay value, Gunjack is one of the best games for the Gear VR and it really shows what the platform is capable of.
Gunjack is a great little game with a high replay value. Those looking to pick up a Gear VR should seriously consider adding this game to their library.
